History

The Mutant brand was created in 2007 by STI Certified Products, Inc., a leader in consumer electronics distribution. STI Certified Products was founded in California in 1988 and is an approved supplier for U.S. major retailers. STI has won numerous awards, including the Supply Chain Excellence Award (number six out of the top 100 winners) from a major retail chain store.

Superior quality and excellent service are the principles behind STI’s continued success. Realizing significant variation in quality of products across different manufacturers, STI decided to take full control on quality, features, and value, by developing and manufacturing its own series of products under the Mutant label.

Mutant will continue its development and innovation, striving to maintain a product line that pushes the envelope. We will create products that are of high quality, extreme value to the end-user and reseller, stylish, and unique.
